STARR GUITAR SYSTEMS Wiring Harness Upgrade for Fender J-Bass: Series/Parallel Push/Pull Pot
- This wiring uses a push/pull pot in the tone position to switch the 2 pickups from parallel to series. Standard J-Bass wiring is parallel. Switching to series will give you a boost in output, and a boost in mid-range. Push Pull pot up = series, Push Pull pot down = parallel
Included in each SGS parallel/series Push Pull Pot Jazz Bass set:
2) USA made CTS 250K solid shaft audio taper volume pots
1) BOURNS 250K split shaft tone pot for series/parallel switching
1) Brass sleeve to convert BOURNS tone p/p pot to solid shaft if needed
1) Orange Drop .047 Capacitor 100 volt
5) Vintage style push back black (ground) and white (hot) cloth covered wires, 22 gauge, with a waxed braided cotton outer insulation.
